McCowen, Harold Lee

of Grove Okla died Dec 10, 2003, at a Joplin Missouri hospital. He was 75. Born Nov 20, 1928, in Jay Okla to Clyde Lee McCowen and Mary Ella Hogan McCowen. Lived in Grove since June 1995, moving from Shawnee Okla. A World War II veteran of the Air Force and served with the occupation forces in Japan as a flight engineer. Married Beatrice Brashears on Apr 1, 1975, she preceded him in death on Sep 17, 2003. Burial in Duffield cemetery in Jay.
