Mathis, Billy David

age 68, of rural Fairland Okla died Oct 23, 2002, at Miami hospital. Born Oct 29, 1933, in Afton Okla to Earl Mathis and Lula Cowells Mathis. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army for eight years during the Korean Conflict. After leaving the military, he spent time in California and Alaska before returning to Okla. Cremated. A burial place was not given.

Burial is Thursday at G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
