Martin, Maxwell

died Feb 20, 2003, in his home after a bout with cancer. He was 88. Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, on Sep 19, 1914, to Frank Martin and Jean Hutton Martin. He moved to California where he met his wife of 61 years. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. When he came home he became a bartender and worked in many restaurants throughout Beverly Hills. He moved to New Mexico in 1977 where he worked as a bartender at El Nido Restaurant. At 76, he retired from J. C. Penny's. He is survived by his wife, Stella Martin. Burial at the Rosario cemetery in New Mexico.
