He attended school in Miami. Lived in Miami most of his life. An Army veteran serving from 1948 to 1949. Lived in Tulsa while he worked as a glasscutter for Pittsburgh Glass and in Arizona while he worked as a drill rig operator. He was the owner and operator of a service station on North Main in Miami for several years. Burial at G.A.R. cemetery.
