Malocsay, Joseph A.

Joe Malocsay, age 83, died at 9:20 pm May 29, 2002, at Miami hospital.

A photo. Born Jul 13, 1918, in Miami to Arpad Stanislaus A.S.' Malocsay and Mary Coleman Malocsay. Lived in Miami his entire life. A veteran he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp 93rd Bobb group during World War II. He taught music at Afton Okla Elementary school and was the grade school principal. He then taught music at Will Rogers Middle School at Miami for 15 years, retiring in 1980. Married Alice Nell Sweem on Feb 7, 1941, at Miami. She preceded him in death on Mar 24, 2000. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
