Toots' Layton, age 95, of Salinas California, died Jun 30, 2002, at Sunridge Rehab and Care center. A native of Rocky Comfort Missouri. He was raised in Bernice Okla and lived in Picher Okla before moving to Salinas in 1948. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Nina Layton. Healey Mortuary chapel in Salinas. Burial in the Garden of Memories cemetery in Salinas.
