Born in Spur Texas, on Jul 8, 1929, to Melvin Landers and Ruth Hoggard Landers. A veteran, he served in the Air Force during World War II. He received his juris doctorate degree from the University of Okla at Norman in 1955. In 1960, he moved from Durant, to Miami. He was a partner in Wallace and Owens law firm in Miami, retiring in 1998. On Aug 9, 1952, he married Patricia Shaffer in Duncan. She survives. A burial place not given.
