of Harrison Arkansas, died Dec 12, 2003. He was 80. Born Dec 1, 1923, in Cardin Okla to Virgil Kennedy and Lorene Kennedy. Graduated from Picher Okla high school and from Utah State College in Logan Utah. He moved to Ponca Arkansas in 1971. A World War II veteran of the Navy. He later entered the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. He received his pilot's wings in 1951 and later served in the Strategic Air Command. In 1956, he was a member of the three-man crew team flying B-47 bombers which won the world bombing competition. In 1961, he became a test and evaluation officer for the Tital II Missile Weapon System. He retired from the Air Force in 1971, as a Lieutenant Colonel. Married to Patricia for 53 years, she survives. Burial in Maplewood cemetery, Harrison.
