Hudson, George

age 69, of Miami, died Mar 7, 2002, at the Muskogee Okla Veterans hospital.

A photo. Born Mar 24, 1932, in Kansas City to Ralph Crawford Hudson and Addie Pennington Hudson. He had lived in Miami since 1973, moving from Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri. A veteran he was retired from the Army as a sergeant first class. He served in the military for 21 years. A veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He served in the special forces as a paratrooper and on long-range recon patrols. He taught electronics at Ft. Mammoth New Jersey, and operated a television station for the military during Vietnam. Married to Betty Jean Johnston, she survives. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery of Miami.
