Hodgkins, Tressie N.

died Dec 31, 2002, at the Johnson County Care Facility in Olathe Kansas. She was 87. Born Mar 30, 1915, in Omaha Arkansas, to James Gilbert and Lydia McCartney Gilbert. Her father died in 1917 and she was raised by her stepfather, Richard Benton. Lived in Overland Park Kansas, for 30 years before moving to Baxter Springs Kansas. Married Rio Morris Nip' Hodgkins on Sep 15, 1937, in Joplin Missouri. He preceded her in death on Nov 27,1992. Burial will be in the Baxter Springs cemetery.
