Hite, Orville L.

Cotton' Hite, of Webb City Missouri, died at 7 a.m. Dec 31, 2002, at his home. He was 83. Born on May 16, 1919, near Pittsburg Kansas, to Lonnie Hite and Tillie Carson Hite. Retired to Webb City in 1983. He was a World War II veteran serving as a combat tank driver. He owned and operated Cotton Hite Motor Company in Miami from 1973 to 1983. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hite. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
