Highley, Gene H.

a photo, Joplin Missouri, died Nov 14, 2003, at Joplin. He was 77. Born Sep 28, 1926, in Picher Okla to Euin Highley and Hazel Harrison Highley. He had lived in Joplin for the past six years, moving from Commerce Okla. Graduated from Picher high school in 1944 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II with an anti-aircraft detachment. Married Virginia Pierce in 1947, she preceded him in death in 1985. He married Norma Webb on Dec 14, 1990, in Miami, she survives. Burial in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
