of Miami died Apr 22, 2003, after an illness. He was 83.

born Jan 19, 1919, in Salina to Webster Halfbreed and Minta Hanna Halfbreed. Lived in Miami for 15 years, moving from Tulsa Okla. He was a World War II veteran of the Army during which he was a prisoner of war and held by the Japanese for more than three years. He was the Golden Glove featherweight champion of Okla in 1940. He married Joan Barnes on Feb 12, 1946, in Columbus Kansas. She survives. Burial at Mt. Hope cemetery in Afton Okla.
