Garren, Nell Olene

Nellene Garren, age 80, of Miami, died at 2:24 pm Mar 14, 2002, at Hidden Lake Care Center, Raytown Missouri.

Born Nov 3, 1921, to William Holland Gordon and Grace Adelaide Lee Gordon at Miami, and resided in Miami most of her life. She worked as an office manager for the former Hulvey Insurance Company and later for the Anderson Insurance Company. Married James Terry Jimmie' Ranstead in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1945 when he was killed in World War II. She later married Carl Justin Garren in 1964 and he died in 1990. Burial in the Ottawa Indian cemetery, southeast of Miami.
