Born Feb 19, 1923 in Lake Charles Louisiana to John R. Friesen and Mary Patzkowski Friesen. He moved to Miami in 1985 from Guymon Okla after living there for 22 years. He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving in the Seabees. Married Leona Mary Pavlick on Jun 18, 1947, in George West Texas, she survives. Burial at the Premont cemetery in Premont Texas.
