A veteran, he served in the Navy during World War II. He was employed by B. F. Goodrich in Miami until he retired in 1977. Married Lorene Pratt on Mar 29, 1937, in McAlester Okla. She preceded him in death on Apr 18, 2001. Burial in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
