Davis, William A.

age 84, died Aug 10, 2002, at his Miami home. Born Oct 17, 1917, at Stillwater Okla to Will Davis and Lucy Tyson Davis. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Junior Grade from 1943 to 1945, in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a well-known and respected teacher in Miami. He retired in 1980 with 34 years of experience. Married Lorene Booth in 1963, she survives. Burial in Williams Coal Creek cemetery.
