Dareing, DanielDale

Danny Dareing, age 53, of Grove Okla, died at 12:36 am Jun 4, 2002, at Memphis Tennessee.

Born Feb 27, 1949, in Miami to Jay Van Dareing and Rex Ann Dareing. He moved to Grove seven years ago. A veteran, he served in the Army 173rd Airborn Battalion during the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. In spite of being left a paraplegic as a result of contact with Agent Orange, he was an effective Baptist preacher, pastoring at Peoria, Picher Trinity, Lone Star and currently at Elk River Baptist church. Married Vee Alcontin on Oct 20, 1984 in Picher Okla, she survives. Burial at the Williams Timber Hill cemetery, east of Welch Okla. A photo.
