age 86, of Cameron Missouri, formerly of Miami and Commerce Okla, died Sep 25, 2002. Born May 27, 1916, in Joplin Missouri to Fred E. Cunningham and Edna May Norton Cunningham. Lived locally until 1952, when he moved to Kansas City North, Missouri. A veteran, he served during World War II and achieved the rank of T-5 in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He served in the 175th Ordinance Depot Company, supporting the Austrian, Luzon and New Guinea campaigns. He was discharged in Ft. Leavenworth Kansas. He ran the elevator in the old Security Bank building, Miami, in the 1930s. In the 1960s he opened his own business, Cunningham Display Creations. He had contracts to provide inspiring displays for some of the largest companies in the Kansas City area. He maintained the business until his retirement in 1978. Burial in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami.
