Crossland, Ivan Lee Sr.

age 74, of Columbus Kansas, died at 6:55 pm Jun 2, 2002, at a Joplin Missouri hospital.

Born Oct 20, 1927, in Cardin Okla to Albert Wesley Crossland and Maude Leora Bowers Crossland. Lived in Columbus since 1966, moving from Treece Kansas. A veteran, he served in the Army from 1950-1952 as sergeant first class in Company L in the 160th Infantry Regiment in the Korean War. He worked in telecommunications, mining, chemical, redi-mix and construction industries before starting Crossland Construction in 1977. Married Virginia Mary Ferrel on Jan 11, 1953, in Los Angeles California, she survives. A photo. Burial is at Park cemetery in Columbus.
