Cross was born Apr 6, 1931, in Picher to Daniel Lee Cross and Stella Collins Cross. Lived in Picher most of his life. He was employed by SW Rock and Chat in Treece Kansas, for 10 years. He had been a hard rock lead and zinc miner in Picher and Idaho and also worked in construction. He married Pat Stallsworth in April 1962 in Picher. She survives. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery in Miami.
