of Wyandotte Okla died at 4 p.m., Dec 19, 2002 at the Miami hospital after an illness. He was 85. He was born Nov 26, 1917 near Addielee near Westville. Lived in Wyandotte for 38 years, where he was employed by the Bueaur of Indian Affairs at the Seneca Indian School in Wyandotte and in Nome Alaska, from 1963 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation. He was a World War II and Korean Conflict veteran, serving in Germany and at several posts stateside during the Korean Conflict as a radar technician. He married Dortha Mae Newgent on Jan 17, 1948, she survives. Burial in the Green cemetery.
