age 88, died Dec 31, 2001, at his Bethany Okla home. Born Jun 1, 1913, in Spickard Missouri to J. E. Careswell and Pearl Brundage Careswell. Formerly lived in Ft. Scott Kansas. Lived in Miami for 19 years before moving to Bethany six months ago. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Married Loretta O. Hearn in Ft. Scott. She preceded him in death on Mar 14, 2001. Burial in the Evergreen cemetery.
