born Sep 11, 1924, in Bradford Pennsylvania to Nichola Calcagno and Nancy Deposito Calcagno. Lived in the Miami area since 1968, moving from Maryland. A veteran of the Marine Corps, enlisting at the age of 17. He landed with the Marines at Guadalcanal, Saipan, Tinian and Nagasaki during World War II. He was in education for 39 years. He was known for his artwork and exceptional talent. Married Carol Cass on Jun 11, 1966, in Oceanside California, she survives. Burial place is not given.
