Buening, Gordon W.

of Seneca Missouri, died Apr 20, 2003, at his home after an illness. He was 82. Born Feb 26, 1921, in Seneca to William G. Buening and Flossie I. Buening. Lived in the Seneca area most of his life. He was a mechanic and worked for the Seneca Special Road District until retiring. He served in a Civilian Conservation Corps Camp in the 1930s which built Roaring River State Park and numerous other projects. He married Emma Kathleen Barker on Apr 16, 1952, in Neosho Missouri. She survives. Burial at Swars Prairie Baptist cemetery.
