Blackwell, W. T.

Blackie' Blackwell, age 82, of Grove Okla, died Jul 1, 2002. Born Sep 30, 1919, in Frisco to Wesley O. Blackwell and Nellie McCalip Blackwell. He moved to Grove in 1986. A veteran, he served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service. Married Mildred Willis on Jun 8, 1943, she survives. Burial in the Ada Memorial Park cemetery.
