He worked in the the Eagle-Picher hard rock lead and zinc mines, until they closed and later worked in mines in Illinois and Michigan. Married Viola Alice on Jul 17, 1941, in Quapaw Okla, she preceded him in death. Denton-Funchess funeral home. Burial place not given.
