Anderson, Billy Ray

Bill Anderson, age 69, of Springfield Illinois, died at 9:50 am, Oct 11, 2002. Born Nov 6, 1932, in Peoria Okla to Robert Lee Anderson and Freda Leona Cherry Anderson. Lived in Springfield since 1968. He was a veteran, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a bartender for Charlie's Tavern for 30 years. Married Joann Smotherman in 1950, she survives. Burial at Camp Butler National cemetery.
