Obituary -- Mrs. Clarence Wheeler, funeral services were held for Mrs. Clarence Wheeler, 25, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodist church in Commerce Oklahoma. She was married to Clarence Wheeler Jun 30, 1928. To this union were born two children, Patricia Adeline Wheeler, 7 years old and Charles Edward Wheeler, 4 years old. She was a member of the Methodist church in Commerce, living in Commerce and North Miami Oklahoma all her life. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer ?? of Bird Dog Mines, one brother, ?? of Commerce, two sisters, Mrs. Fern Payton of Chetopa Kansas, and Mrs. Alice Thompson. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Webb of Platesville Wisconsin, and her grandmother, Mrs. Pauline Gist of Douthat Oklahoma, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robert Denton of Baxter Springs Kansas. Songs sang by Mrs. Jesse Martin, Mrs. H. B. Ralph and Mr. Elmer Fulcher of Commerce were "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Home Over There" and "Saved By Grace," with Mrs. Valentine of Commerce at the piano. Pallbearers were Floyd Dryer, Wayne Lair, Clarence Fulcher, Albert Stewart, Jack Haynes and Virgil Stainer, all of Commerce. Flower girls were cousins of Mrs. Wheeler. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company of Seneca Missouri.
