Waford, George "Shorty"

Commerce Oklahoma, Sep 8.- George Shorty' Waford, employee of the Bilharz Mine No. 1, near Commerce, was killed Sunday morning when two boxes of dynamite accidentally exploded at the mine. Waford leaves a brother and a sister. Funeral services were held at 4 pm yesterday afternoon at the Commerce Baptist church. The Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce, was in charge.

Obituary -- The funeral of George Waford, who was killed in Bilharz Mine No. 1, Sunday morning, was held Monday at 4 pm at the Baptist church. Burial was in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami.
