Obituary -- 84 year old resident of Commerce Oklahoma for many years, died at his home at 303 South River street at 6:10 am Saturday. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kirksey Stoops; three sons, Rubert Stoops of Vallejo California, Walter Stoops of Tucson Arizona, and Herbert Stoops of Miami Route 2; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Malicott of Sand Springs Oklahoma, and Mrs. Maxine Whitaker of Vallejo; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Clifford of Galena Kansas and 10 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Mitchelson funeral home.

Obituary -- Funeral services will be conducted at the First Methodist church in Commerce at 2:30 pm Tuesday. The Rev Barnice Johns will officiate. Pallbearers will be Lon Lee, Jim Teeters, Howard Delchmandy, Willis Crow, Dee Peterson and Fred Witten. Members of Commerce lodge A.R. and A.M. No. 493 will conduce special Masonic rites at the grave in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami. Burial will be under direction of the Mitchelson funeral home.
