Abstract Data

Obituary -- about 25 years old, was instantly killed Friday by a falling ore can while in shaft No. 2, of the Vinegar Hill Mine. It seems that the can fell about 200 feet and struck him. He was working with a brother-in-law in the mine, who escaped injury at the time. He leave a wife, who resides in Picher Oklahoma. The remains were sent to the morgue of Hal Mitchelson, Commerce, from where they were sent to Carthage Missouri Saturday for burial.
