Obituary -- 24 year old former Commerce Oklahoma resident, died at 6 o'clock Sunday evening at his home, 311 North Illinois street, Columbus Kansas. Stevens is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Stevens; one son, Harley Thomas Stevens; two daughters, Joyce Stevens and Gloria Stevens, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Stevens, Commerce; two brothers, Gerald Stevens and Donald Lee Stevens, Commerce; five sisters, Mrs. Susie Groves, Mrs. Dorothy Mathes, Misses Juanna Stevens and Mary Evelyn Stevens, all of Commerce, and Mrs. Helen White, Miami. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Commerce. The Rev. Arthur Shargo will officiate. Cousins of Mr. Stevens will be pallbearers. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, under direction of Mitchelson funeral home of Commerce.
