Smith, Nora

Obituary -- Commerce Mrs. Nora Smith, 67 years old, died at 12:20 pm Wednesday at the home of her son, Cecil Smith, one-half mile west of Commerce. She is survived by one son, Cecil Smith, at whose home she resided, one daughter, Mrs. Berta Sidwell, west of town and two grandchildren, Aubert Sidwell and Elva Sidwell of Commerce; and a half brother, Kim Hutton, of Cassville Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Christian church in Commerce. The Rev. C. C. Cockrum will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jack Thomas, Forest Arric Lawrence Campbell, Junior Rutherford, Gene Brown and Richard Dodson, Noel Wyatt will sing and a quartet will also sing. Mrs. Smith has resided in Commerce since 1917, moving here from Cassville Missouri. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce.
