Obituary -- Funeral services for Joseph O. Shepherd, 50 years old, who died yesterday at his Commerce Oklahoma, home, 201 South Walnut street, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Commerce Baptist church. The Rev. R. M. Dearing of Quapaw Oklahoma will officiate. Shepherd is survived by his wife, Nettie Sheperd; four sons, James Shepherd of Quapaw and Walter Shepherd, Oscar Shepherd and Doyle Shepherd, all of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Thelma White of Commerce and Ruby Shepherd, Dorothy Shepherd, FloBelle Shepherd, Loretta Shepherd and Barbara Shepherd, all of the home, and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Jordan of St. Louis. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company.
