Commerce Oklahoma Judge F. L. Ray, 61 years old, died at his home, 212 South River street, Commerce, at 6:40 am Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Ray; two sons, Thomas Ray of Lincolnville Oklahoma, and Kenneth Ray of the home, and a daughter Mrs. Ruth Becker of Commerce. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Robert Denton of Baxter Springs Kansas will officiate. Burial will be in the Newman cemetery on Five Mile, east of Spring River, under the direction of Mitchelson undertaking company. Judge Ray had lived in Commerce and vicinity practically all of his life. He had served as police judge and justice of peace for the last 12 years in Commerce. He had been in ill health for some time but continued to go to his work in the city hall until last Saturday, when he became worse.

Obituary -- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Judge F. L. Ray, 61 years old, who died Saturday morning at his home 212 South River street. Judge Ray had lived in Commerce and vicinity practically all of his life. He had serviced as police judge and justice of the peace for the last twelve years in Commerce Oklahoma.
