Poteet, W. B.

Obituary -- 85 years old, a pioneer resident who died at the home of his son, A. B. Poteet, 101 North Elm street, Commerce Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon. Services were to be held at 3:30 pm today at the home. Mr. Poteet had been a resident of this vicinity since 1895. Surviving him, besides the son, are a grandson, Rep. William E. Poteet, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Pauline Goodwin, both of Commerce. The Rev. W. C. Templeman was to officiate at services. Burial was to be in Baxter Springs Kansas cemetery under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce.
