Mowrey, LeRoy

Obituary -- A youthful former Commerce Oklahoma resident, LeRoy Mowrey, was killed Saturday in a highway accident at Springerville Arizona, his parents Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Mowrey of 132 North Vine street, Commerce, have been notified. A telegram sent by another son, L. D. Mowrey of Los Angeles California, informed the parents of the tragedy, but contained no details. The victim was 26 years old. Besides his parents and the California brother, he is survived by five other brothers, Mike Mowrey of Miami and Oren Mowrey, Jack Mowrey, Kenneth Mowrey and Buddy Mowrey, all of Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Forrester, Commerce, and Wilma Jean Mowrey of the home. The body will be shipped to Commerce for final rites and burial. Arrangements will be announced by the Mitchelson funeral home of Commerce.
