Abstract Data

Obituary -- John W. Moudy, 61 year old millman, died at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home in Douthat. Mr. Moudy had worked on lead and zinc mill jobs in the local district for the last 16 years, a period in which he acquired a wide acquaintance among men in that industry. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon by the Rev. Wesley Martin at the Baptist church in Douthat. Mr. Moudy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belie Moudy; two daughters, Mrs. Lindel Hill and Mrs. Grace Jordan, and two sons, Ray Moudy and Paul Moudy, all of Douthat, and one sister, Mrs. Dora Summers, of Monett Missouri. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company.
