Obituary -- Killed in Action. The body of Sgt. Ralph E. Morgan, who died in action on Luzon April 29, 1945, was to arrive in Miami at 1:10 pm today. The soldier's mother, Mrs. Edna Morgan, resides at 304 North Vine street, Commerce Oklahoma. Other survivors include three brothers, George Morgan of the home in Commerce; Claude Morgan of Fairland Oklahoma Route 1 and Perry Morgan of Miami; and four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Barton of St. Genevieve Missouri, Yvonne Morgan, Billie Jean Morgan and Dora Mae Morgan all of the home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Commerce Assembly of God church. The Rev. Ward Allen will officiate. Taylor-Shouse post of the Commerce American Legion will be in charge of military rites. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson funeral home of Commerce.
