Obituary -- W. H. Mitchell, 84 years old, died about 11 am today at the home of a son, who lives near Columbus Kansas. Another son, Alva Mitchell, lives at Commerce Oklahoma where he had stayed at various times. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce, is in charge.

Obituary -- Funeral services for Mitchell who died at the home of his son, Guy Mitchell, three-fourths mile west of Columbus Kansas, Monday morning, will be conducted at the Greenlawn Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. L. A. Johnson will officiate. Mr. Mitchell is survived by two other sons, Alva Mitchell of Commerce, and Orland Mitchell of Adrian Missouri; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Shank of Columbus Kansas, Route 5; Mrs. Julia Shank of Baxter Springs Kansas, Route 1 and Malissa Mitchell of Adrian Missouri; and one grandson, Melvin Mitchell of Adrian Missouri, Mr. Mitchell had visited at Commerce frequently with his son, Alva Mitchell and family, having left here only about a month ago to visit his other son near Columbus Kansas. Burial will be in the Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma, under the direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce.
