Obituary -- Commerce Oklahoma. Apr 30 John W. McKibben, 51 years old, died Sunday morning, Apr 29, 1934, at the American hospital at Picher Oklahoma. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia McKibben; two daughters, Azell McKibben and Alma McKibben, both of the home, his step-mother, Mrs. Lucy McKibben of Commerce; four brothers, Jake McKibben and Harvey McKibben of Quapaw, Harvey McKibben of Miami, Blanch McKibben of Foyle and Charles McKibben of Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Mitchell of Brooklyn New York, and Mrs. Mattie Smith of Commerce. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home north of the Buffalo schoolhouse, northwest of Commerce. The Rev. Robert Denton of Baxter Springs Kansas, will officiate. Burial will be in the Union cemetery north of Galena under direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company, Commerce.
