Mattison, E. S. "Montie"

58 year old Tri-State district mine operator, died at St. John's hospital in Joplin Missouri, at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday following a short illness. Mattison formerly was associated with Wilbur Worley and Ferrell Williams, both of Miami, in the operation of the W. M. & W. Mine, near Picher Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Meda Mattison of the home at 134 B street northwest, Miami; a brother Willard Mattison of Englewood California, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Parker of East St. Louis Illinois, and Mrs. Velma Adam of Englewood. The body was received by the Mitchelson Funeral home, Commerce Oklahoma. Burial at G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami.
