Obituary -- Claude King, 48 years old, who resided at the Cactus Mine, west of Commerce, died at his home at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday night. He had been an employee of the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company for more than 10 years. Funeral services for the veteran mine employee will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist church at Commerce. Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace King, six children, Lauretta King, Homer King, Maudie King, Betty King, Josephine King and Verna Mae King; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. King at North Miami; four brothers, Frank King of North Miami Oklahoma, Huston King of Tulsa Oklahoma; John King of Coleman Texas, and Pryor King at Hillsboro Illinois; and six sisters Mrs. Myrtle Branson, of Miami, Mrs. Nettie Davis of Seattle Washington, Mrs. Joseph Clark of Melrose Kansas, Mrs. Emma Moore of North Miami, Mrs. Osle Archer, Coleman Texas and Mrs. Fay Burgey of Miami. The Mitchelson funeral home is in charge of the funeral. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
