formerly a resident of Miami for many years and a well known figure in district Masonic lodge circles, died at his home Tuesday afternoon. He was 63 years old. Death followed a long illness. A retired mining field superintendent, Kelly was a member of the Masonic Blue lodge in Miami, the Scottish Rite and Mystic Shrine, McAlester, and the York rite, Joplin Missouri. He had received the highest honorary degree, the 33rd, awarded by the York Rite. He also was a "dad" in the Miami DeMolay organization, having been awarded the DeMolay Cross of Honor. The Kelly home is at 207 South Cedar street Commerce Oklahoma. Surviving are his wife, Anna B. Kelly, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Clair Southern, Fayetteville Arkansas; a son, James E. Kelly, Odessa Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Claire Tink, Granby Missouri; and Mrs. Opal Dabbs, Neosho Missouri; a brother, A. G. Kelly of Granby, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist church of Granby Missouri at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Rev. George Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in the Granby cemetery under direction of the local Mitchelson funeral home, Commerce.
