Hopper, John H.

Obituary -- John Hopper, 59 years old, for 30 years a resident of Commerce Oklahoma, died at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the St. John's hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. He had been ill for three weeks. Hopper, who had been employed as a hoisterman for the Eagle Picher Company for several years, is survived by his widow, Rosa Hopper; a daughter, Pauline McBee, Yuma Arizona; a sister, Mrs. Maude Hawthorne, Commerce; two grandchildren, two nephews and five nieces. Funeral services will be held at the Mitchelson chapel, Commerce, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. C. V. Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
