54 years old, died at his home near the Texas Mine, east of Picher Oklahoma, yesterday afternoon at 4:30 from a seventeen months' illness with tuberculosis. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Olive Hopper; four children, Mrs. Ernest Gailey, of Commerce Oklahoma, and Lorene Hopper, Clarence Hooper and William Hooper at home; his father, E. R. Hopper of Humansville Missouri; and a brother and sister, Mrs. Fannie Adler and Edward Hopper, also of Humansville. He was a member of the Picher IOOF lodge, having been an Odd Fellow the past twenty-eight years. He was a past noble grand.

A double funeral will be held at the Christian church at North Miami Sunday afternoon at 2 for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hopper, both 69 years old, who died Thursday and Friday, respectively. The Rev. Roy E. Hurt pastor of the First Methodist church of Commerce, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Miami cemetery. The funeral will be under the direction of the Hall Mitchelson undertaking company, of Commerce. Both deaths are believed to have been due to heart trouble. The aged couple are survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bert Camp, of Carl Junction Missouri, and Mrs. John Hawthorn, of North Miami Oklahoma, and one son, John Hopper, of North Miami. Mr. Hopper died at the home of his son-in-law, John Hawthorn, and Mrs. Hopper died at the home of her son, John Hopper.
