Hodson, John "Jack"

a Tri-State miner for a quarter of a century and resident of this area, died yesterday afternoon at the Commerce Oklahoma home of his brother, Joe Hodson, 111 North Cedar street. He was 42 years old and had made his home at Quapaw Oklahoma. Surviving, besides his brother, are his wife, Mrs. Nell Hodson; two sons, Buddy Hodson and Joe Hodson of Quapaw; three nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Commerce Baptist church. The Rev. J. Grover Scales will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma and Treece Kansas, with Mitchelson's funeral home, Commerce, directing.
