Obituary -- An association of two months duration, reported to have been severed less than two days ago, led to a murder and suicide....Mrs. Edna Jo Poor Harman, twice-married, blond-haired mother of an 8 year old boy, was shot four times, dying instantly in her room on the second floor of the Marquette rooms, located on Commerce street, Commerce Oklahoma. Near her, lying on the floor, was Albert Rogers, 40 year old miner and recent escort of the woman, a bullet hole in his head, when other roomers and police rushed to investigate the reports of six or seven pistol shots. Rogers, married until about one year ago, is the father of two children. ...Rogers had fired upon the woman, with whom he had been keeping company for several weeks and then, even as Lee Denton, a roomer had kicked the door to the death room ajar, turned the gun on himself. ...the woman was lying across the bed. ...there was no sign of a struggle.
