Obituary -- Commerce Oklahoma, Nov 26 B. A. Happy Dan' Hampleman, 75 years old, who had operated a grocery store at Commerce for the last 22 years, died at Miami Baptist hospital at 6:55 o'clock Monday night. Mr. Hampleman, a senior deacon and organizer of the First Baptist church at Commerce, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carlie Hampleman; a son, Russell Hampleman; two sisters, Miss Hallie Hampleman and Mrs. Bessie Manoss, both of Tamaroa Illinois; and two brothers, Zeb Hampleman of Tamaroa, and Richard Hampleman of St. Louis Missouri. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist church with the Rev. I. E. Taylor, assisted by the Rev. Glenn Hampleman, officiating. Burial will be at the Carterville Missouri cemetery. The Mitchelson undertaking company will be in charge. Pallbearers for the funeral will be the board of deacons of the church.

Obituary -- Burial was made at Carterville Missouri. Mr. Hampleman was born Jun 19, 1860, east of Tamaroa Illinois. He was the son of Judge and Mrs. Henry Hampleman, the ninth child in the home of 13. Eight of this number have preceded him in death. Happy Dan' was married to Carlie King of DuQuoin, Apr 29, 1886. They had two children, Zelma Hampleman, who preceded him in death in 1908, and Russell Hampleman of Commerce. He had been a member of the Baptist church of Commerce since 1914 and served as deacon since that time. Mr. Hampleman had operated a grocery store in Commerce for a number of years. Besides his wife and son, he is survived by two grandsons, Dewayne Hampleman and Allen Hampleman.
